Our horses
Champions are no coincidence!
Since the 1960s, we have bred more than 400 foals at Dree Böken – including more than 35 licensed stallions and more than 70 State Premium mares.
How do we achieve this? It starts with an exceptional mare line, selected consistently over generations for willingness and ability to perform, light-footedness, jumping ability, forwardness, toughness, exceptional rideability, longevity and good X-rays.
We combine this genetic foundation with optimal nutrition, ideal rearing conditions and careful, considerate training. Because a good pedigree alone does not make a good horse.
On these pages, we present a selection of horses that have shaped Dree Böken or were bred by us. They include important mares and stallions from our breeding programme as well as successful Dree Böken horses in international sport.
Some of them are still with us today, while others have found their way to riders, breeders and owners around the world. What connects them is their origin and their importance to our breeding programme.
They represent many more Dree Böken horses from more than six decades of breeding.

Horses for sale
Most of our horses for sale are not listed online. For us, finding the right horse is about more than a list of facts, a video and a price. What matters is that horse and rider are genuinely well matched.
That is why we want to know what you are looking for: What are your goals? How experienced are you? What qualities matter most to you in a horse? This helps us decide which of our horses might be the right fit.
From promising young horses to experienced sport horses competing at the highest level, we regularly have dressage and show jumping horses of different ages and levels of training available for sale. Many of them are offered personally rather than publicly.
The horses shown here are therefore only a small selection of what we currently have available.
If you are looking for a horse, get in touch at ag@sportpferd.eu. There is a good chance the right one is already in our stable.
