More than a farm: the cradle of our champions
The approved and formerly state-owned stud Gestüt Prieros (VEG), today Zuchthof Dree Böken, is the cradle for successful horses. It is located in the lovely and picturesque area in the northern Spreewald, approx. 30 km away from the airport Berlin-Schönefeld, amidst of lakes, meadows, pastures and forests. It was nominated winner in a nationwide contest for horse-appropriate raising in 2007.
Our stud is under constant supervision of Schade & Partner Consultancy for Horse Enterprises. Different vet offices are responsible for our stock.

History and character
We have been breeders with the Hannoveraner Verband for more than 50 years. The many successes of Zuchthof Dree Böken with a comparably small number of mares is based on a particularly fostered breeding concept, developed over many equine generations. A breeding concept with the main attention always being placed on performance, character, toughness, health and rideability.
In beautiful surroundings
From the county of Bentheim to Berlin
The breeding farm had been situated in the county of Bentheim near the Dutch border for a long time. In 2005, the proprietor had the opportunity to purchase the formerly popular and approved Gestüt Prieros near Berlin and to relocate the breeding farm to the gorgeous area of the northern Spreewald. The site is made up of approx. 135 ha pastures, meadows and forests along the lake "Langer See" south of Berlin.
