Golden Badge of Honor of the Hanoverian Breeding Association for Arend Kamphorst

The association's highest recognition for individuals who have shown exceptional commitment and distinction to horse breeding.

On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Dree Böken stud farm in Prieros, the founder of the breeding farm, Arend Kamphorst, was honored with the Golden Badge of Honor of the Hanoverian Association. This is the association's highest recognition for individuals who have shown exceptional commitment and distinction to horse breeding. The badge of honor was personally presented by Dr. Hinni Lührs-Behnke, President of the Hanoverian Breeding Association.

With a family tradition in Hanoverian horse breeding dating back to 1961, the stud farm is today one of the leading stud farms in show jumping and dressage, boasting a history of breeding around 400 foals registered for Hanover, approximately 35 licensed stallions, and 70 state premium mares. This breeding program has produced numerous internationally successful sport horses, including well-known stallions such as Vulkano FRH, Stakkato Gold (Stallion of the Year 2015), and King Kolibri. Mares such as the State Premium Stallion Baloubets Rose, who successfully competes in elite sport under Marcus Ehning, and the State Premium Stallion Uniteds Märchen, who won the Grand Prix Special in France in 2025, also testify to the outstanding quality of the breeding program.
