This champion under Johannes and Marcus Ehning has passed away. Following a sport injury, Vulkano suffered from a colik from which he did not recover.
Vulkano had a great personality with a very reliable and clean character. His different wins and high ratings with Markus Ehning at several international show jumping tournaments revealed his fighting spirit, assets, intelligence and commitment.

1998 licensed in Verden and sold to Canada via the stallion market, won the Canadian show series for future top stallions as a 5-year-old stallion and was reserve champion the following year.

Hyperion by Heraldik xx was licensed in Verden in 2003 and is a successful eventer for Frank Ostholt in Warendorf
Athletica 1 foal (then used in sport)
Her foal King Kolibri was licensed in Verden in 2004 and sold to Holland via the 'Hengstmarkt'.Athletica is now ridden by Guilia Martinego Marquet. Born in 1998, the mare is one of the most successful horses in the Italian national team and, according to the World Ranking List October 2007, is the 6th most successful Hanoverian in sport after Goldfever and Enorm.
Descendents
The first foal, mother Carmen, won the show at Isterberg and Ankum. He qualified for the national foal championship at Lienen and achieved 6th rank at the foal championship in Uelzen. The following year, Vulkano was again father of numerous winning foals. In Espelkamp, three of his foals qualified for the national championship (Bundeschampionat) at a time.
His son "Vesuv" was elected licensed stallion at the stallion licensing in fall 2006. He was also elected premium stallion. He won at the stallion performance test.
Breeding approval
Vulkano FRH was licensed by the Hanoverian Verband in Verden. He is also approved for the Hanoverian Jumper Program, for Oldenburg, Springpferdezuchtverband Oldenburg-International, Rhineland and Westphalia.
