In recent years, one or more home-bred and home-raised young stallions have gone out into the world every year.

As a result of globalization, horse keeping and breeding has developed rapidly, and breeders and breeding associations have had to adapt to this. You can now find horses with the same or similar pedigree at almost every horse breeding association in Germany - and in some cases even in Europe - and this will have far-reaching consequences. In my opinion, as a long-standing performance breeding operation, we are at a turning point and are asking ourselves: What value do mare shows, mare performance tests and stallion approvals still have for us? Should we still put in the effort? Are the licensing of 2.5-year-old young stallions still in keeping with the times? For leading breeders, stallions are only of interest if they can demonstrate international success.
